Farm Innovators Submergible Bucket Heater with Attached Guard Model W-449, 1,000-Watt Review

Farm Innovators Submergible Bucket Heater with Attached Guard Model W-449, 1,000-Watt

We use this as an auxiliary heater to get our hot tub up to temperature more quickly.
Works great - cuts heating time by 60%. I also use it my shop to get warm water - rather than the expense of installing a hot water heater.
Wish the cord was a bit longer, but the guard around the element keeps it off the bottom of the tub
and the 1000W power makes it easy to plug into any electrical outlet.
This is a well made product - lots of uses around the house.

Bush CH-101 Energy-Saving Immersion Water Heater Review

This item broke after three weeks of use; I had been using it properly, and it simply cut off in the midst of heating a cup of water and never worked again. Previously I've used a NORPRO version of this device, which lasted much longer (I broke it through improper use -- letting it boil dry). I'm going back to Norpro.

This heating element was an upgrade from a 12 year old 20 gallon water heater. Not only was it 500 Watts more power, it was much cheaper than a 1000 Watt element from a local hardware store. It is working great!

Marshalltown 742G Bucket Water Heater Review

Marshalltown 742G Bucket Water Heater

I made a hot tub out of a 100 gallon stock tank, some insulation, and a small pool filter. The only thing missing was hot water! I tried a large aquarium heater, but it didn't get hot enough (94F). This solves the problem - it gets it as hot as you want. You have to unplug it and take it out before you get in, but it still stays hot long enough for a nice long soak. I love this thing.
