My old heater was what they called a ''direct vent'' and would have cost me a little less than the Rennai. Glad we went this route. I sure don't miss that big tank in my garage! One less flood factor!
Wish We would have timed how long it takes hot water to get to tap with the old heater, At the most it only takes maybe a few more seconds than the old one did. If that?
Make sure you hire a qualified plumber with tankless experience to do the install. I read alot of reviews about bad or unacceptable installations. Don't cheap out on this!
